1. Information We Collect

Xplora is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, transmit, distribute, or sell your personal data to any third parties.

Because Xplora is a file management application, it requires access to certain device features and data to function properly. However, all processing of this data happens locally on your device.

2. Permissions and Data Access

To provide our core file management features, Xplora requests the following permissions:

• Storage Permissions (Read/Write/Manage External Storage): Xplora requires full access to your device's internal and external storage to allow you to browse, move, copy, delete, and organize your files and media. We do not scan your files for any purpose other than displaying and managing them at your request.
• Network Access: The App requires internet access to connect to remote servers (FTP, SFTP, SMB, WebDAV) and cloud providers (Nextcloud, OwnCloud, OneDrive) that you explicitly configure. We do not track your network activity or intercept your file transfers.
• Biometric Authentication (Face ID / Touch ID / Fingerprint): Xplora offers a feature to lock the app or protect saved credentials. This relies on your device's native biometric APIs. The App only receives a success/failure confirmation from the operating system. We never access, collect, or store your actual fingerprint or facial recognition data.

3. Remote Servers and Cloud Providers

When you use Xplora to connect to remote servers or third-party cloud services (like OneDrive):

• You authenticate directly with those services.
• Any connection credentials (usernames, passwords, SSH keys, tokens) you save within Xplora are encrypted locally on your device using industry-standard AES encryption.
• We do not have access to your credentials or the files stored on your remote servers.

4. Data Security

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information. Your saved remote connection credentials are encrypted and stored locally in the device's secure storage.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Because the App operates entirely locally on your device, we do not collect any personal data from our users, regardless of age.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
